This family owned and operated place is a gem! My husband and I were finishing up dinner at another Westport... restaurant, and were craving some delicious dessert. We called Finalmente Trattoria to see if they were still open at the late hour. They were not, BUT, so generously told us to come by anyway! We arrived to a table for two, set with a candle, outdoors on their beautiful little patio area. We had authentic, delicious dessert (try the cheesecake!) and house made limoncello 🍋. The hospitality and personable service surpassed any expectation we had. Thank you for a wonderful wrap up to my husband’s birthday - we will surely be back!read more

The Bucatini Carbonara is superior to any other carbonara I’ve tasted. I often order it with shrimp added. My husband... is a loyal fan of the Polo Cappriccioso unless he is in the mood for comfort food, in which case Lasagna Bolognese does the job. And to gloriously end a meal, Andre’s homemade cheesecake and a frosty glass of limoncello are as close to heaven as one gets on earth.read more
